Many years ago, sat in a sunny food tasting room, I decided that there was more to life than arguing over half a percent of salt in a sandwich. That thought, along with a loaf of chocolate bread, shared with a lady that’s now a lifelong friend, led me to leave my secure job of 10 years and start the life of a freelance home economist – something I’ve never regretted. I’ve travelled all over the world and met the most amazing people, all in the name of food.
