TV-worthy

The backbone of my work for many years, I’ve been the lead home economist on many food programmes working with the likes of Gordon Ramsey, Marco Pierre White and Michel Roux Jnr, including a 10 year stint on Saturday Kitchen, seeing 3 different presenters through their paces.

The latest Eat Well For Less series is being aired May 2022, with our 5th book, EWFL - Happy & Healthy, launched alongside it. As home economist and food stylist for the series, I work between production teams and dieticians to create achievable, delicious, healthy and inexpensive recipes!

I also work behind the scenes providing on screen food for entertainment programmes and dramas such as 8 Out of 10 Cats and The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan for Channel 4; Dr Who for BBC1; Ted Lasso for Apple TV; Temple for Sky One; Call My Agent and Alex Rider for Amazon Prime.

I’m a foodie through and through. I first started work many moons ago at Marks and Spencer Head Office, on the accounts side of things, having turned down an art college placement. I moved through the business from merchandising sandwiches to product development until suddenly my true vocation became apparent – food, and all things foodie. Writing, creating, styling, presenting and every aspect of food associated with all of those, and somehow that led me to the world of television!
